Costumes - Marvin Hudgens - Dark of the Moon

For my Costuming and Theatre Techniques class, we had to design and apply makeup to ourselves.

For this project, we were paired up into groups, and one of us had to be the designers, while the remaining members of the groups were the "actors" who had to apply makeup "for the show and curtain is in one hour." This means we had 1 hour to apply the makeup to ourselves before our pictures were taken.

My group consisted of Amanda Kephart as the designer, and myself as the actor. The makeup plot she designed was rather simple, and she picked Marvin Hudgens for myself since I already had the somewhat long hair, as well as a partial beard. The hardest part of this project was scrubbing the makeup out of my beard.

I pushed my hair back, squared off my brow, darkened in some of the ridges on my brows, added a crease on the nose, and darkened my facial hair. Amanda also Marvin to have sunspots, so we added them with a stippling sponge.
